Man charged with assault after pub incident

A man has been charged with assault after two people were injured in a Staffordshire pub.

Police were called to the Royal Oak in Market Place, Cannock, at around 11pm yesterday and 36-year-old man was arrested and later charged with two counts of common assault.

The suspect will be appearing at Cannock Magistrates' Court on February 13.
