WATCH: Thief steals £35,000 worth of jewellery and electronic items from home

A man has stolen electronic items and jewellery valued at up to £35,000 from a home near Wolverhampton during a daylight burglary.

The burglar forced entry to the home in Mount Pleasant, on a country lane between Coven and Brewood, using a concrete slab on December 3.

Once inside, he searched the home before making off with electronic items and jewellery – which Staffordshire Police say has been valued at up to £35,000.

The burglary took place at 1.20pm.

Detectives from Staffordshire Police investigating the incident have now released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the burglary.

A spokesman for the force said: "Detectives are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen the man caught on camera or anyone who may have seen the man’s dog, who had a bright and multi-coloured lead."
