Staffordshire Police hunt E.T. lookalike after Lichfield burglary
Police have released a sketch of a burglar which hundreds of social media users are saying could be E.T.
The e-fit of the woman was released by Staffordshire Police as part of an appeal to track down four burglary suspects.
Two women and two men forced their way into a home on Richard Cooper Road in Shenstone, Lichfield, just before 9pm on January 3.
Cash and electronic equipment was stole before the four offenders made off from the scene in an Audi.
The suspect whose picture has been shared is described as a 'very skinny' woman in her mid 30s with light blonde hair who speaks with a Birmingham accent.
During the incident, the woman was wearing a green knitted top and pale leggings.

After the e-fit was shared on social media hundreds of people commented saying the wanted woman looks like E.T., with one suggesting X-Files characters Mulder and Scully would be better suited to tracking down the suspect.
Staffordshire Police's Facebook post received hundreds of comments within minutes, with several posting pictures of the 1982 film character.
One user, Simon Wright, said: "The getaway vehicle was apparently a BMX, that had a shopping basket on the front of it."
Other people likened the image to Prime Minister Theresa May or Coronation Street character Gail Platt.
Andy Turner said: "She's in the House of Commons I think."
While Nicole Dean said: "How to find a suspect - make the e-fit go viral."
Staffordshire Police responded to the jibes on their Facebook saying: "Thank you for all the interest and shares, we can confirm E.T was at home and no fictional soap characters are potential suspects - we hope the engagement created means we identify the offender quickly."
Investigations are ongoing and anyone that recognises the woman in the e-fit or has any other information about the burglary is asked to email howard.davies@staffordshire.pnn.police.uk.
