Second man charged with murder of Yasir Hussain in Dudley
A second man has been charged the murder of Yasir Hussain in Dudley.
Akarsh Tasleem appeared at Walsall Magistrates Court this morning accused of attacking the 34-year-old father-of-four on Tuesday, December 4.
Tasleem, aged 23, of Broadway West in Walsall, was charged with murder and possession of a bladed article.
He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday.
Mr Hussain, from Lancashire, was found stabbed to death at 9.40pm after a car crashed into a Chinese takeaway on Central Drive, Lower Gornal, on December 4.
The car is believed to have been rammed by a grey van before crashing into the takeaway.
Detective Inspector Jim Colclough, from the force’s homicide department, said: "This is another significant step forward in our enquiries. My thoughts remain with Mr Hussain’s family who have been kept fully updated with this development."
Six men altogether have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the case.
Four were released under investigation while one man, 20-year-old Nabeel Choudhary from Hope Street, West Bromwich is in custody awaiting trial.
One other person, a woman, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and was also released under investigation.
