Arrests made after Class A drugs seized in Lichfield
Two men have been arrested after a quantity of Class A drugs were seized in Lichfield.
Officers from Staffordshire Police stopped a black BMW on London Road at around 10.50pm last night (30 December) as part of an intelligence-led drugs operation.
Following a search, a quantity of what is believed to be heroin was discovered, along with a number of mobile phones and more than £600 in cash.
A 28-year-old man, from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug and possessing controlled drugs with intent to supply.
A 19-year-old man, also from Birmingham was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply.
They both remain in custody at this time and enquiries are on-going.
