Arson suspect arrested after doorstep blaze in Cannock
A suspected arsonist has been arrested after a fire on the doorstep of a house in Staffordshire.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested following the blaze, which was put out by a Staffordshire Fire and Rescue crew before it spread in Whitby Way, Cannock, yesterday.
Staffordshire Police has since launched an appeal, urging people who witnessed anything to come forward.
A spokesperson from the force said: "No one was injured.
"A 39-year-old woman from Cannock has been arrested on suspicion of arson and enquiries are on-going.
"Detectives are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious to call 101 quoting incident number 143 of December 27."
