Three murder arrests after death of man found injured in street
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a man found unconscious in a street.
Daniel Pelechacz was discovered unconscious in Temple Street, West Bromwich, in the early hours of September 30 and died of his injuries two days later.
The 40-year-old, from Wednesbury, had been at the Klimate Polski Bar before he was found injured.
Three men aged 30, 35 and 39 have since been arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed pending further enquiries.
Police continue to appeal for information one month on from the death of Mr Pelechacz.
Detective Inspector Caroline Corfield, from the force’s homicide unit, said: “The arrest of these three men is a positive step but we are still working hard to piece together the sequence of events which led to Daniel’s death.
Investigation
"We are grateful to those people who have come forward to speak to us so far, but we do need to speak to everyone who was present at the Klimate Club that night, whether or not you think you saw anything relevant. We would also like to speak to anyone else who has any information which they believe would assist our investigation.
“Anyone who is concerned about speaking to police can be assured that any information they give can be treated in the strictest of confidence. I’m also appealing to anyone who may have any photos or footage from the club on Saturday evening into Sunday morning to get in touch."
Daniel’s family have issued an appeal in the hope they will get some answers about what happened to him.
It says: “Daniel’s untimely death has devastated our family. Daniel was a much-loved son, brother and father to three children who he totally adored. We as a family need to find out what happened to Daniel and are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward."
