Attempted ram-raid leads police to cannabis farm at Black Country industrial estate
More than 1,000 cannabis plants were found growing at a Black Country drugs farm after police were tipped off about an attempted ram-raid.
The drugs factory was found in a unit at the Granada Trading Estate in Oldbury yesterday after police were called to reports of men trying to ram their way into a unit with a van at around 2.30pm.
Four men, all aged between 21 and 30, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of burglary and cultivating cannabis.

Industrial grow lamps and ventilation ducts could be seen hanging from the ceiling connected to a Sunmaster ballast, while numerous wires were connected to plugs attached to wooden posts.
