Reuben Hylton is wanted in connection with a string of 'nasty' assaults against female victims.

West Midlands Police has launched an urgent appeal to trace the 27-year-old and is warning the public not to approach him.

Detective Chief Inspector Jim Munro said: "Hylton is wanted over a series of nasty attacks against women, intimidation and attacks on their property.

"Our suspicion is that he is a danger to women and the wider public and I would urge anyone who has seen him or has information that could help us locate him to get in touch immediately.

"I would urge people not to approach Hylton but to instead call us. Callers won’t be asked for their names and their phone numbers stay hidden − we just want the information."

Hylton, of no fixed abode, is wanted in connection with three alleged assaults against two former partners.

Police want to talk to him after another woman was harassed and threats to kill her were made, along with criminal damage to the women's properties.

The suspect is also wanted for breaching court restraining orders preventing him from contacting the alleged victims, the force said.

Officers have executed several arrest warrants at addresses linked to Hylton but he remains at large.

Call the force on 999 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
