Wayne Kendall and Cameron MacKenzie, both aged 21, were remanded in custody until October 8 when they will have to enter pleas to the charge of murdering Kevin Shepperson.

His bound and badly beaten body was found in the hall of his top floor flat in a three storey block in Bloxwich Road South, Willenhall, shortly after noon on August 22.

He was certified dead at the scene and a post mortem examination subsequently disclosed that he died as a result of multiple injuries.

Kendall, a neighbour of Mr Shepperson, and Mackenzie from Richmond Street, Chuckery, were both arrested from separate addresses early on Friday.
