Parents charged with murder of their two-month-old baby son
A father and mother have been charged with the murder of their baby son in 2014.
Luke Morgan, aged 25, and Emma Cole, 22, are accused of murdering two-month-old Tyler Morgan.
Tyler died at his parents' home in Sunnymead Road, Burntwood, on April 29 2014.
Morgan and Cole, who now live in Tunstall, have also both been charged with manslaughter and face further charges of causing or allowing an infant death and child cruelty.
They appeared at Stafford Crown Court this morning and were granted conditional bail.
A trial date was set for January 14 next year.
