Halesowen machete attack suspects released by police
Four men who were arrested after a man was reportedly attacked with a machete have all been released by police.
Officers were called to reports of a man being assaulted by two other men in Andrew Road, Halesowen, at around 1.10am on Friday.
The man was taken to hospital but is now recovering at home.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said that the four men – one aged 28, two aged 29 and one aged 32 – who were arrested in the area, have now all been released under investigation while police inquiries continue.
A fifth man was also arrested, but was later released with no further action.
