Man arrested after 78-year-old injured in vicious Kidderminster road rage attack
A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a 78-year-old man suffered injuries to his head, arms and legs in a road rage incident in Kidderminster.
The victim was attacked at around 3pm on Saturday in Bewdley Road, near to Kidderminster Hospital. The attacker then drove off.
The suspect, aged 51, from Ludlow in Shropshire, has been bailed until later this week while investigations continue.
Detective Constable Eleanor Jones said: "This was a vicious attack on an elderly gentleman that has left him with injuries to his head, arms and legs.
"We're carrying out a thorough enquiry to establish what happened and would appeal for anyone with information to contact us."
