Thieves target car sat navs and dash cams in Halesowen
Sat nav and dash cam thieves are plaguing parts of Halesowen.
Vehicles are being targeted around Halesowen say police with thieves stealing dash cams and sat navs.
It has prompted Halesowen police sergeant Lisa Brooks to issue a warning to drivers.
She said: "Please ensure that you are removing your valuables from your vehicles overnight.
"We are seeing an increase in theft from motor vehicles of sat navs and dash cams that have been left on display."
The warning comes after it was reported in September a crime wave was hitting Halesowen following concerns raised by local police officers and councillors.
Halesowen North ward councillor Stuart Henley encouraged residents to report incidents to police.
He said this was important as police chiefs would be able to focus resources on the area.
