Investigation continues into death of 30-year-old mother
An investigation continues into the death of a mother killed in her car crash near her home.
Vikki Jones, aged 30, was involved in the crash with a white BMW in Wood Road, Lower Gornal, in September last year.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 11-year-old girl was also left injured.
A 21-year-old man was arrested by police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving the following morning.
He was released while the investigation by police continued.
West Midlands Police said inquiries were still going on and no-one had been charged.
Following the 30-year-old's death a vigil was held by the community.
In a tribute statement, the family said: "We lost the most beautiful, caring, loving, funny, kind hearted person you could ever wish to meet."
A campaign has since launched for road safety measures on the road with Dudley North MP Ian Austin handing in a petition to Dudley Council.
