Stourbridge Road murder: Man stabbed to death in flat above Dudley shop
A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in a flat over a convenience shop in Dudley.
Police were called to the stabbing at a flat in Stourbridge Road at around 2.30am on Saturday.
They rushed to the flat above the Mini Mart to find the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Friends of the 24-year-old had left flowers outside the front door and took to social media to post tributes to him.
One friend, Gurjit Sohal, posted: "Can't believe it's true. R.i.p my pal. You'll be missed by many. You were always a top lad And a good good friend."
A police van was still parked outside the property on Sunday morning.
Scene Investigator Detective Inspector Justin Spanner said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have any information about what happened leading up to the attack to call police on 101 giving log number 243 of 6 January .
