Man killed in suspected Stourbridge hit-and-run named

A man killed in a suspected hit-and-run has been named by police.

Krzyzstof Klasowski died after being hit by a vehicle on Amblecote High Street, Stourbridge.

The 37-year-old, from West Bromwich, was found in the road with multiple injuries at around 5.30am on Saturday.

It comes as police continue to appeal for any information surrounding Mr Klasowski's death.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after handing himself in to a police station. He has since been released as the investigation continues.

Sergeant Alan Wood, from West Midlands Police, said: "A number of people have spoken to me and my team but I am appealing to anyone who has not yet come forward and who was in the area at around 3.30pm to contact me."
