Teenager stabbed in stomach in Bilston park robbery
A teenager was stabbed during a robbery in a park in Bilston.
Police have now released CCTV images of two of the three suspects thought to have carried out the attack at around 7.30pm on September 12.
The 19-year-old victim was sat with a group of friends in Hickman Park, Wolverhampton Street, when they were approached by three teenage boys.
They demanded a set of speakers that the group was using and when they refused the victim was stabbed in the stomach.
He went to hospital and was discharged after being treated for his injuries.
A pink and white Apollo mountain bike was also stolen from a 15-year-old girl.
Pc Mark Booth from, from Wolverhampton CID, said: "This was a nasty attack and I am appealing to anyone who recognises them to come forward.
"The teens are obviously traumatised by their ordeal, and the man who was stabbed had to undergo surgery.
"I would also like to appeal to the men in the images to do the right thing and come forward. It is only a matter of time before we come knocking at their door."
