Ellesmere path sealed off in police investigation
A section of path next to the canal is Ellesmere was closed off as part of a police investigation.
The walkway under a bridge next to canal was sealed with tape on Wednesday evening, with multiple police cars seen in the area.
Residents reported seeing police activity in the area just before 7pm.
Inspector Rich Roberts, from West Mercia Police said last night that they were unable to give any details of the investigation, but that the incident was concluded as of 8pm and that the path was reopened to the public.
