Four charged over shoplifting
Four people have been charged in connection with a police swoop on suspected shoplifters.
Police were called to Sports Direct in Bentley Bridge Park in Wednesfield on Saturday at 5pm.
They were alerted to a group of people shoplifting.
When the group made off in a car, they were followed by police.
It is alleged the group collectively stole clothing with a value of around £1,000.
Terence McDonagh age 29 of Hemel Hempstead; David Joyce age 28 of Peterborough; Martin Joyce age 27 of Salford and Annie Joyce age 27 from Southampton have all been charged with theft and are to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court on 24 October.
