Man shot while riding bike in Walsall
A man was shot while riding his bike in Walsall last night.
Armed police were sent to the scene in Burrowes Street, close to Green Lane Baptist Church, at 11pm.
A 43-year-old man suffered a minor leg injury and police believe the offender ran from the scene.
A spokesman said: "The road was closed while a search of the area was being conducted and inquiries are under way to find the person responsible."
Police were at the scene today carrying out investigations and a bike, thought to be that of the victim, was still lying in the road.
