Man 'critical' after being found with serious head injuries outside Bloxwich pub
A man is in 'critical' condition after being found outside a pub in Bloxwich with serious head injuries.
Officers were called to The Prince of Wales Pub in High Street just after 11pm on Saturday night
A 29-year-old man was found lying outside the premises and was taken to hospital, where he is currently in a critical but stable condition.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding in connection with the incident, and is currently helping police with their enquiries.
Detective sergeant Matt Slattery from Force CID said: “The investigation is on-going and my officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and who may have seen what happened last night, or who has any information to get in contact.”
A spokesperson for the Prince of Wales said: "The incident was outside the pub, an ambulance was called as soon as he was seen on the floor. Police asked us to keep the pub closed to preserve the scene."
