High street Spar staff threatened at knife-point by push-bike robbers
Two knife-wielding robbers threatened staff at a shop before fleeing on pedal bikes with a haul of cash.
Spar in High Street, Pelsall, was targeted around 9pm on Sunday.
Both suspects covered their faces with scarves.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to the Spar store in Pelsall High Street just after 9pm on Sunday 3 September to a report of an armed robbery.
"It is believed two men threatened staff with knives and demanded cash.
"One of the men is described as wearing a blue jacket with an orange rim on the hood, while the other was in a grey hooded jacket with blue jeans. Both men covered their faces with scarves.
"They managed to make off with a quantity of cash and are reported to have ridden off on pedal bikes.
"Investigations remain on-going and anyone with information or who witnessed what happened and hasn’t yet spoken to police is asked to call 101."
