Robbers threaten bookies staff with gun

Police are hunting two robbers who threatened staff at a bookmakers in Dudley with a gun.

The crooks, wearing boiler suits and masks, burst into Bedfred in Saltwells Road, Netherton, getting away with cash.

West Midlands Police has now issued a plea for information from anyone who was in the area at the time. The incident happened just after 9pm on Monday.

One of the men was wearing a red baseball cap and the pair are believed to have left the bookies in a pale blue car.
