Two crashes on same road within hours
Two people were taken to hospital after two crashes on the same road within hours of each other this morning.

Fire crews were first called to Pedmore Road in Brierley Hill at just after 2am when a BMW was found on fire after crashing into a lamppost.
Police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of drink-driving, following the incident near the Matalan store.

At around 7:30am, crews were called again to Pedmore Road but this time in Lye.
Two cars collided near the junction near Fieldfare Road.
No one was trapped but a 61-year-old man, the driver of one of the vehicles, and the passenger, aged 77, were taken to Russells Hall Hospital with chest pains.
