Axe attacker ran down Stourbridge High Street as drinkers left pubs
This man was being sought by police today after allegedly attacking someone with an axe on Stourbridge High Street.
The suspect's photo was taken in a pub shortly before a fight broke out outside. Police say the suspect disappeared and returned with an axe, before attacking someone with it.
The victim's injuries were not known.
West Midlands Police said the suspect was "spotted running along Stourbridge High Street with an axe as revellers left local pubs."
The force said it had recovered the axe after the violence, which happened at around 12.50am on April 23.
