Teenager stabbed near Birmingham city centre bus stops
A teenager has been stabbed twice near a set of bus stops after an argument with his attacker.
The victim, aged 19, was targeted on Moor Street Queensway in Birmingham city centre last night.
He was recovering in hospital today after being stabbed twice in his bicep and armpit, as police today released this image of the suspect.
Det Insp Tom Hadley, from Force CID, said: “The man we are looking for is black and has a distinctive hairstyle. He has long afro hair worn in two buns high on either side of his head. He was wearing a light coloured hoodie and carrying a ‘manbag’.
“We understand that the suspect was arguing with the victim and we are sure that there are witnesses to the attack who have not yet come forward."
