Mansoor Mahmood: Brierley Hill murder victim's family in emotional plea to catch killer eight months on
The family of a murdered father have demanded justice as they spoke for the first time about the devastating impact of his killing.
Detectives have named the prime suspect in Mansoor Mahmood's murder as Niron Parker-Lee, and a reward of £6,000 is on offer for information about him.
Mr Mahmood, who left behind two young children, died after being stabbed in the stomach outside Dixi Chicken on Brierley Hill’s High Street on October 15 last year.
Police today revealed they still do not know the motive behind the attack – or Parker-Lee's whereabouts.
Mr Mahmood's wife Aisha Akhtar, 25, said: "We need to catch his killer. We need him to come forward.
"Someone, somewhere knows where this person is.
"We need to bring him to justice, not just for us but also so it can bring peace for my husband."
Mansoor and Aisha met while at Sandwell College in 2012 and have two children. The oldest, Isa is three, while Awais turns two next month.
Aisha continued: "Mansoor was a loving, caring husband, father, son and brother.
"He was always the one that would make you smile. He was loyal to all his friends and family. Mansoor was an amazing father and we all loved and adored him.
"Our two children loved him to bits and always wanted to be with their daddy. They are too young to understand what has happened."

Nationwide appeal to catch Black Country murder suspect Niron Parker-Lee
Mr Mahmood's father Khalid Mahmood Choudhury, 53, said: "I want justice. I want Niron Parker-Lee brought to justice. I haven't slept for one night properly since Mansoor passed away."
Det Insp Harry Harrison said any members of the community with information should come forward.
He said: "You can see the effect that the murder of Mansoor has had on his family.
"It's also shocked the community in Brierley Hill.
"It's in everybody's interest to bring this dangerous offender to justice.
"We don't know the motive for what happened, but I can say they were known to each other.
"It could be as simple as a spontaneous coming together that ended up in a tragic event.
"We know that a fight took place and as a direct result of that, Mansoor died."
Anyone with information should call West Midlands Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
