Teenager suffers facial injuries in Wolverhampton 'blade' attack
A teenager suffered facial injuries in an assault believed to have involved a bladed weapon.
Police were called to Warstones Gardens in Warstones, Wolverhampton, at 4.45pm on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police, said: "A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with facial injuries believed caused by a bladed weapon.
"He was treated for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
"An investigation has been launched and enquiries are on-going."
Residents said an air ambulance landed on nearby Warstones Green.
