Up to 15 football hooligans were involved in a brawl at Bescot Stadium train station ahead of Walsall FC's 2-1 victory over Northampton Town on February 4.

Officers were called to the fight on the over bridge at the station at around 2.30pm, 30 minutes before kick-off.

They broke up the trouble, and a man aged 25 from Walsall has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

The suspect arrested has now been bailed in connection with the trouble.

However, British Transport Police have now re-appealed for help to find seven men wanted in connection with the brawl.

A spokesperson said: "We are continuing to appeal for information to identify seven men in connection with football disorder.

"There was a large fight between football fans at Bescot station in Walsall following the Walsall vs Northampton fixture on Saturday 4 February 2017.

"We originally appealed for information in February and since then five men have been spoken to in connection with his incident.

"We are still seeking information on seven people.

"If you recognise the men in the images, who are believed to be Walsall and Northampton fans, please call 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 quoting reference number 405 of 4/2/17."
