Man in court after police officers attacked in West Bromwich
A man appeared in court today after two police officers were injured when they came to the aid of a woman who had called 999.

Craig Malcolm, from Clifford Road in West Bromwich, is accused of assaulting the woman at his home before going on to attack the police responders.
Malcolm, 30, was arrested at the address on Sunday evening and charged with wounding, criminal damage and assaulting police.
Police say one officer was left with a fractured cheekbone and was expected to have a metal plate inserted.
The other has an injury to his shoulder and cuts to his body.
Malcolm was remanded into custody and will next appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on November 29.
