Kenny Miller arrested: Former Wolves striker held after restaurant 'brawl' following Old Firm derby
Former Wolves striker Kenny Miller has been arrested following an alleged brawl in a restaurant following the Old Firm derby between Celtic and Rangers.
Miller is said to have been involved in a 'disturbance' at Da Luciano restaurant in Lanarkshire, near Glasgow, on September 10, hours after his Rangers side were thrashed 5-1 by their fierce city rivals.
The 36-year-old former Scotland striker is reported to have been at the restaurant with his wife Laura.
Police Scotland confirmed prosecutors were considering bringing charges in the case.
A force spokesman said: "A 36-year-old man has been arrested and is subject to a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with this incident."
Miller joined Wolves from Rangers in 2001 for £3million - a figure only £500,000 short of their record signing at the time.
The Scottish striker helped Wolves to the Premier League when he scored 24 goals in 2002/03, and his most memorable moment in a Wolves shirt came the following season when he scored the only goal in a famous win over Manchester United in January 2004.
Miller stayed with Wolves after they were relegated back to the Championship before moving to Celtic in 2006. He scored 63 goals in 196 appearances for the club.
