He had been in a relationship with Bibi at the time, who was also formerly married to Nawaz.
During the trial Bibi gave evidence at Birmingham Crown Court that she had been in the bathroom with the teenager at Bridgeburn Road on August 31, when Mr Iqbal was killed.
Nawaz said he had been asleep on the sofa and woke to find Bibi dragging the box with the body inside and the teenager standing nearby.
"What is particularly awful about your conduct Zatoon Bibi is that you also recruited your son, Kashim Nawaz, to the enterprise. I have no doubt listening to the evidence that you did so at the last minute to provide the brawn. He was no part of the planning process. He was only 15 at the time.
Addessing Zatoon Bibi during sentencing he added: "Your selfishness and your manipulative nature is breathtaking."
