Two armed robbers threatened staff at a Black Country corner shop before making off with the store's takings, it was revealed today.

The robbers, carrying either baseball bats or pieces of wood, helped themselves to the till in One Stop Shop, Brierley Hill.

Two suspects entered the shop on Turners Lane at around 8.45pm on February 4 and demanded a staff member open the safe.

The pair then went around the back of the counter and emptied the till, before escaping on foot.

And one month on from the attack police have now released a CCTV image of one of the suspects they want to speak to over the raid.

Pc Dave Hackett said: "They've pushed the bats towards the staff and the staff have then got the cash out of the tills. The staff are very concerned."

"We believe the offenders could be local."
