Tipton stabbing: Man in court over Slater Street attack
A man has appeared in court after a man was stabbed in Tipton.

Mechanic Usman Murtza, aged 23, of Victoria Road, was charged with possession of a knife in a public place, attempted wounding with intent and wounding with intent.
He appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Saturday January 9 where he was remanded in custody until February 5.
He will then appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court for his plea and case management hearing.
The man was stabbed in Slater Street, Tipton Green, the day before, on January 8.
A 47-year-old man was also arrested at the same time but has since been released without charge.
Police officers put a cordon up on the street following the attack.
