'Distressing and idiotic': Condemnation of racist graffiti at Wolverhampton Sikh temple
Wolverhampton's MPs have hit out at the 'distressing' and 'idiotic' graffiti attack at a Sikh temple in the city, as West Midlands Police appeal for witnesses to the crime.

The Guru Nanak Gurdwara temple on Well Lane in Wednesfield was targeted with racist graffiti last weekend. Vandals painted a derogatory word on a wall and an image showing the graffiti has since been circulating on social media.
Emma Reynolds and Rob Marris, the MPs for Wolverhampton North East and South West respectively, have both denounced the attack.
Mr Marris said: "For many years people have worked hard to build the great community relations in Wolverhampton. Distressing and idiotic acts like this do not represent the spirit of our city."
Miss Reynolds added: "It is deeply offensive and distressing for the Sikh community to be targeted in this way. I am in touch with the committee who run the temple and offering any help and support that I can give. I hope that the police find the culprits and that they are brought to justice."
West Midlands Police are still investigating and are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information should call 101.
