PICTURED: Face of man murdered at Oldbury charity event is revealed

This is the first picture of the man who was murdered at a charity event in Oldbury, released as two security staff working at the venue appeared in court accused over his death.

Nicolas Salhan, 36, from Haybridge Avenue in Stourbridge and Jonathan Davies, 42, from Old Bridge Walk in Rowley Regis, appeared before Sandwell Magistrates this morning accused with the murder of Inderjit Singh Dhariwal.

Salhan and Davies were remanded in custody for a bail application hearing on Monday at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

A police tent at Samsons Banqueting Suite in Rood End Road, Oldbury

The men were charged late last night.

Mr Singh, from Rood End Road, suffered serious head injuries at Samsons Banqueting Suite in Rood End Road just before 2am on Sunday.

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and later died of his injuries.
