The offenders struck at the centre on Bridgnorth Road, Pattingham. Police would not reveal the name of the base but it is on the same road as the Owl & Falconry Centre at Gardenlands Garden Centre, which was unavailable for comment.

The centre was targeted once before and lost eight valuable birds of prey.

Staffordshire Police spokeswoman Faye Casey said: "Unknown offenders have stolen the owls from a wooden enclosure at a falconry/wildlife centre on Bridgnorth Road in Pattingham."
