The incident happened at an address in Dangerfield Lane, Darlaston.

Police believe a shotgun was used at around 11.10pm on Sunday, but no-one was injured.

A dark-coloured car was spotted leaving the area shortly afterwards and headed towards Wednesbury.

West Midlands Police spokeswoman Joanne Hunt said: "Nobody was injured but the windows were damaged by what is thought to be a shotgun.

"At this stage, this is believed to be a targeted - rather than random attack - and forensic and house-to-house inquiries have been carried out to help establish who was behind it."

Anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
