Man injured in attack near college
A police cordon was in place outside a college today after a man was left with a head injury in a serious assault.

Two men have been arrested after reports of a disturbance near to the South Staffordshire College campus in Stafford Road, Cannock.
The victim was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire with the injury at just after 5.10pm last night.
Police arrested two Cannock men, aged 46 and 53, and they remain in custody this morning.
The entrance to the college was cordoned off as police investigated today. Staff and students were being advised to use the rear entrance.
