Thug broke man's jaw with single punch at Wednesfield pub
This man was being hunted by police today on suspicion of breaking a man's jaw with a single punch in a pub in Wednesfield.
The victim, 34, was knocked to the floor with the blow to the face which, left him needing surgery and a lengthy recovery process.
It happened at the Dog and Partridge on Wednesfield High Street, and police today released images of the suspect.
Investigating officer Dc Zahid Ahmed said: "We have spoken to numerous witnesses at the pub that night, but so far our inquiries have not led us to the offender, so we turning to the public in a bid to identify him - I am sure that someone will know the man responsible."
The attacker is described as a 5'8" tall white man, aged between 28 and 30 with a muscular build and short dark brown curly hair. He was wearing light coloured knee length shorts and a red vest.
The attack happened on the evening of July 13, but details have only now been released.
