Nine more charged after Wolverhampton drugs raids
Nine more people have been charged as a war on drugs and gangs in Wolverhampton continues.
Police have now charged 28 people and arrested 36 as part of operation Wolverhampton No Deal, which has seen homes raided across the city in the past week.
The latest charges follow dawn raids led by a team of 150 officers in Park Village, Wednesfield and Birmingham yesterday morning.
Scott Cousins, aged 31 of Orchard Road, Wednesfield has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin. Mohammed Arif, aged 65 from Crowther Street, Park Village charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine.
Simon Samuels, aged 47 and Coventry Road, Birmingham charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
The three men were appearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
Adam Tanner-Khan, aged 29, Aaran Tanner-Khan, aged 27, Stephen Brown, aged 36, Beresford Smith, aged 61 and David James aged 48 have been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
Stuart Kyprianou, aged 37, has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine. All six will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on October 9.
