Alert after man asks boy to go with him
Police have stepped up patrols in a village near Kidderminster after a man approached a nine-year-old boy.

The man talked to the youngster twice on the play area in Birmingham Road, Blakedown, last Tuesday between 4.30pm and 5pm.
He was sitting on a bench and walked towards the child, who ran away.
Police community support officer Kate Easthope said: "A nine-year-old boy was approached by a man aged around 30 years and asked if he would like to go home with him to play."
