Men are charged over Black Country robbery spree

Two men are appearing in court today charged in connection with five robberies across the region – including a raid at a widow's house in Dudley.

The latest robbery happened in Fox Street, Woodsetton, where a 52-year-old widow was robbed of her late husband's treasured watch, a gold Swiss Ebel with a cream face.

Unemployed Richard Howell, aged 37, from Carder Crescent, Bilston, and Ross Underwood, 28, from Damson Wharf, Tipton were arrested on Saturday.

They have been charged with five robberies in Dudley, Sandwell and Staffordshire.
