Tipton man is arrested over parrot theft
A man from Tipton has been arrested by police in connection with the theft of a parrot from a supermarket on the Shropshire border.

Sam the blue and gold macaw is a firm favourite with visitors to Harry Tuffins in Churchstoke, but the small community was left in shock after the precious pet was stolen in a raid on the store.
Police said a 35-year-old man fromTipton was arrested in Newtown, Mid Wales on suspicion of burglary and has subsequently been released on bail.
The parrot is now back at the supermarket.
