Man in the dock over Kidderminster pregnant woman attack
A man from Great Barr charged with the attempted murder of a pregnant woman in Kidderminster has appeared before magistrates.

Andre Omar Smith, aged 24, is also accused of the attempted destruction of the victim's unborn child.
Smith, of Hamstead Road, Great Barr, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address during a short hearing at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today.
Magistrates committed the case to Worcester Crown Court where Smith will next appear on August 6.
Police found the 25-year-old woman seriously hurt at an address in Lea Street. She remains in a serious but stable condition.
