Girl, 15, threatened with a knife in Kidderminster park
A teenage girl was threatened at knifepoint in a park in Kidderminster, police said today.
The 15-year-old was stopped by the woman in Brinton Park.
She was told to hand over her purse and phone, but managed to run away, leaving the offender empty handed.
Police said the victim was left distressed by the incident, which happened on Sunday at about 6.30pm.
The attacker was described as white, in her 20s, with blonde hair. She was wearing a white strappy top and dark trousers and was riding a dark coloured bicycle.
Detective Constable Mel Cox said: "This appears to have been a completely unprovoked attack, which has left the girl extremely shaken.
"We are eager to hear from anyone who saw what happened or thinks they may have seen this woman in the area."
