Samantha Glover, aged 27 of Parkes Lane, Tipton, was appearing before Birmingham Magistrates Court today.

She is the 12th person to be charged by West Mercia officers with conspiring to assist with the escape from lawful custody of Anslow in January 2012.

Eleven men are currently awaiting trial after being charged with the same offence.

Anslow, from Tipton, was also charged with conspiracy to escape from lawful custody following his return to the UK from Cyprus in March 2013, where he had been arrested before being deported for immigration offences.

Anslow had been at large since escaping from a prison escort van near HMP Hewell, Redditch, where he was being held after being charged with the murder of Richard Deakin in Chasetown, Staffordshire, in July 2010.

He is still to face court proceedings regarding the murder charge.
