Iron bar thug in attack on Netherton couple
An elderly couple were attacked by a thug wielding an iron bar during a robbery in Netherton.

The victims, in their 70s, were walking along Knighton Road when they were approached from behind.
The elderly man was hit on the leg with the iron bar and the attacker demanded he hand over his wallet, he then hit the man's wife twice after saying he had no wallet.
The yob then grabbed hold of her handbag before jumping onto a BMX bike and cycling off at around 11.10pm on April 3.
