Violence broke out on the concourse at Molineux and later outside the Hogs Head pub in Stafford Street after the 2-2 draw on February 9.

Yesterday's arrests took the total number of those held to 12. Six men were arrested before or during the game for offences including breach of bail and affray.

Stafford Street and Broad Street were temporarily shut as a result of the trouble

An investigation was launched following the trouble and information from police spotters and images from CCTV have been used to establish the identities of suspects.

Officers from Wolverhampton visited addresses across the Black Country yesterday and arrested six men on suspicion of affray.

The men aged 48, 45, 24, 39, 16 and 23 are from Stourbridge, Dudley and Bilston areas. Police said they had all been bailed until May.

Sgt Tony Parker, from Wolverhampton police station, said: "This is not the end of our investigations. Violence of this nature will not be tolerated in Wolverhampton and we will continue to work with our colleagues in Leeds to establish who is responsible for these incidents and bring them to justice."
